The Weasel is one of our superb Platu One design class boats and has been a very successful boat in Pattaya in former years. The Platu Class is very popular in Thailand, with almost twenty yachts sailing in Phuket and Pattaya. Sail in Asia currently has 6 Platus for charter in their owned fleet. Despite her modest size The Tiger promises to deliver exciting racing in every regatta. The boat is well equipped with controlled sails. Our one design class is nearer to total one design than any other fleet. All Sails on all the boats being bought at the same time from the same sailmaker and having completed the same number of days useage. (one week).The Weasel is in excellent condition and was first in class at this years Phuket Race Week . They are relatively inexpensive to charter compared to most yachts at Phuket King's Cup and are a great regatta entry level boat. The pleasure of sailing in a strict one design class is that competitors know that the winners don't have the fastest boat, or the most expensive sails - its all about teamwork and crew ability!
